I am a wife, mother, a daughter, a sister, a woman under construction- but most importantly, the daughter of a King.  I have been married to the love of my life for 19 wonderful years and am the mother to three amazing children.  I owe a vast amount of who I am today to growing up in New York and experiencing life in such a diverse community, but since we moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2005, we are proud southerners and could not be any happier.                  

If you were to ask me about my earliest memory of baking, I would tell you about the time I made a carrot cake for my family when I was 10 years old, giving the baked good a crunchy texture with the egg shells I added into the mixture.  I can pride myself in saying that I have come quite a long way from that experience.  

Over the years, I have made an array of desserts for my family and friends, and many of them would encourage me to start a business of my own, but I always hesitated in taking such a giant leap of faith in that stage of my life.  However, over the course of 2016, God lined up many opportunities for me to use my passion for baking that He had given me, pushing me to finally take the leap of the faith that He was preparing me for.  So here I am, eggshells and all! I truly do hope that you enjoy my desserts because I sincerely find great joy in putting a smile on someone’s face, and this is what I hope to accomplish when you try ones of my desserts!
